The School Leadership in the New Normal – Basic Course 1 is intended to improve the capacity of the school heads to manage their schools in the context of the new normal, as well as prepare aspirants to handle the responsibilities of a school head during a crisis like pandemic.
The program design is anchored on the Philippine Professional Standards for School Heads (PPSSH) which defines professional standards that constitute a quality school head. It shall serve as a public statement of professional accountability of school heads. It sets out what school heads are expected to know, be able to do, and value as they progress in their profession.
