Mga Hakbang na Nagsusulong ng Pagtanggap at Paggalang sa Kasarian

In this module, you will learn more about compounds which are essential

to life. These compounds belong to four main classes of biomolecules: carbohydrates,

lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. Carbohydrates and lipids are generally made up

of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Proteins and nucleic acids and some derivatives of

carbohydrates and lipids also contain nitrogen.

This module will also help you understand more about the types of

biomolecule, their roles as the building blocks of life and their tasks in the different

bodily functions in living organisms. These include chemicals that are composed of

mainly carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus.

Through this module, it is hoped that you will be encouraged to choose

wisely your food and further take care of yourself special in this time of pandemic.

Using Information Sources in Everyday Life

      Still pondering on the comments about research papers and you remain puzzled? In many previous classes, you have been asked to write research papers. Do you recall a word or words that have a specific meaning yet are often broadly used? It is quite common for learners and teachers alike to use the term research to describe a paper assignment that is a literature review. It is then necessary to understand the specific language of research before one can proceed with conducting a research.

    In this lesson you will learn to appreciate the importance of research especially during these trying times. Language is the system of using words to communicate with other people. Specialized language has the same function but on a different level. Learning and dominating vocabulary of a domain would give us the opportunity to comprehend conversations. We need to know the appropriate terms of the context to be able to utilize them in different discussions, especially in crafting a research paper.

This module focuses on gases, one of the states of matter. Properties and behavior of gases can be explained and applied through different gas laws. Further, mathematical skills are embedded for our to explain the different gas laws and its applications.

Your main objective under this module is to investigate the relationship between volume and pressure at constant temperature of a gas; volume and temperature at constant pressure of a gas; explains these relationships using kinetic molecular theory.

Nananatiling malaking isyu at hamon ang pagkakapantay-pantay ayon sa

kasarian. Sa Pilipinas, kahit malayo na ang narating ng kababaihan sa

napakaraming larangan tulad ng pulitika, negosyo, akademya, at iba pa,

nananatiling biktima pa rin sila ng diskriminasyon at karahasan. Ngunit hindi

lamang sila ang nahaharap sa mga ganitong sitwasyon. Ang mga kalalakihan din

ay biktima ng diskriminasyon at karahasan. Maging ang LGBT na tinawag ni

Hillary Clinton (2011) na invisible minority ay nahaharap din sa malaking hamon

ng pagtanggap at pagkakapantay-pantay sa pamilya, paaralan, negosyo, lipunan at

maging sa kasaysayan.

Sa araling ito, ilalatag ang impormasyong nagpapakita ng diskriminasyon at

karahasan sa mga babae, lalaki at LGBT. Nakapaloob din sa araling ito ang ilan sa

mga halimbawa ng mga nasabing diskriminasyon at karahasan sa iba’t ibang

bahagi ng daigdig.
