General Chemistry 2 is a highly interactive and engaging course that covers all topics of that are included in MELCs for the second semester of General Chemistry. It includes a multitude of formative practice problems that will help learners to understand each topic. Topics include Kinetic Molecular Model, Properties of Liquids and Intermoleuclar Forces, Intermolecular Forces of Liquids and Solids, Phase Diagram of Water and Carbon Dioxide, Stoichiometric Calculations for Reactions in Solutions, The Effect of Concentration on the Colligative Properties of Solutions, Nonelectrolyte and Electrolyte Solutions, Thermodynamics, Reaction Rates, Factors Affecting Reaction Rates, and Collision Theory, and Catalyst Affecting Reaction Rate.
Discipline and Ideas in Social Sciences
The course introduces students to basic concepts, subjects, and methods of inquiry in the disciplines that comprise the Social Sciences. It then discusses influential thinkers and ideas in these disciplines, and relates these ideas to the Philippine setting and current global trends.
